About the Details list
The Details list in the UCM Deliver window shows the following items:
- A status icon
One of the following icons (similar to those used by the Windows NT Event Viewer) appears to indicate the status of the latest HCL VersionVault operation that was performed on that element.
- Blue circle with i
- Information. A success status was returned.
- Yellow circle with exclamation (!)
- Warning. A advisory status was returned.
- Red circle with x
- Error. A condition occurs that prevents the element from being merged. For example, a lock on a resource such as a VOB was encountered. You must perform a recovery action to continue. See the element log for error details, save the current merge state, fix the error condition, and retry the merge.
Each icon corresponds to a status of the latest message returned and recorded in the element log for that element.
- An element icon to distinguish a file and either a directory (on Linux or the UNIX system) or a folder (on Windows).
- Name
Path of the element that is being merged.
- Merged
Indicates whether the element merged successfully (Yes) or did not (No).
If elements are not merged, check the element logs, fix the problems, select the unmerged elements in the Details list, and re-try the operation.
An element can show Merged as Yes but Checked-out as No. This is not a problem, because sometimes an element does not actually require a merge, is not checked-out, but is marked as merged.
- Checked-out
Indicates whether the element is checked out and, if it is checked out, shows its status (reserved or unreserved) and mastership (with HCL VersionVault MultiSite).
You want to ensure that all elements are marked as Yes under Merged. At that point, the merge is considered complete and you are ready to test the elements in the integration view before you complete the deliver operation.
