  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

To display properties of HCL VersionVault objects on the UNIX system or Linux

About this task

Use one of the following methods to display object properties:

Procedure

From File browser and Version Tree browser
1. Select the HCL VersionVault object.
2. Do one of the following:
  - In File browser, click Report > Describe > VersionVault object.
  - In Version Tree browser, click Report > Describe.
From Project Explorer and History browser
1. Select the HCL VersionVault object.
2. Right-click the selected object and click Properties.
