  HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

To join a project

About this task

To join a project, use the following procedure.

Procedure

Start the Join Project wizard using one of the following methods:
- On the UNIX system or Linux, from an HCL VersionVault host command shell, enter clearjoinproj.
- On Windows systems, in HCL VersionVault Windows Explorer, click the Toolbox tab. Then click UCM > Join Project.
Complete the steps of the Join Project wizard.

Results

Tip: Take note of the stream names when the wizard presents them; they are permanent objects that keep track of your work on the project.
