Using VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator

Use the VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator to explore and view the metadata associated with base VersionVault and UCM VOBs.

The VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator displays a list of VersionVault WAN servers and allows you to explore their contents.

To use the VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator click the ClearCase Metadata Explorer Navigator view icon icon, which toggles the view back and forth between the VersionVault Navigator and the VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator, or clickWindow > Show View > VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator. If the VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator does not appear in the list, click Other > VersionVault and then select VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator.

To explore a VersionVault WAN server, click the plus sign (+) adjacent to the server name. VOBs, PVOBs, UCM projects, and streams known to a VersionVault WAN server appear in both the VersionVault Metadata Explorer Navigator and the VersionVault Metadata Explorer Details view. UCM activities, label types, and branch types appear only in the VersionVault Metadata Explorer Details view.
