Developing software with HCL VersionVault Explorer
HCL VersionVault provides two clients for software developers: local and remote. Each client supports different mechanisms for accessing source-controlled filesystem objects. Both clients provide graphical and command-line interfaces.

Creating a working set
To create a working set in the VersionVault Navigator view, complete the following steps.

Creating a working set

To create a working set in the VersionVault Navigator view, complete the following steps.

About this task

It is possible to have a large number of nodes present in the VersionVault Navigator view. You might need to see only a small number of these nodes at one time. For example, you might want to see only the views and elements that are necessary to complete the activity that you are currently working on. To limit the items that you see in the Navigator view, you can create a working set, and whenever that working set is active, only the items you choose to include in it are visible in the Navigator.

Procedure

In the VersionVault Navigator, select one or more nodes to be included in the working set.
Perform one of the following actions to open the Edit Working set window:
- Right-click on the selected node(s) and select Create working set....
- Click the Create a working set using the selected items button at the top of theVersionVault Navigator view.
In the Create working set window, enter a working set name and click OK.

Results

The Create working set window closes and the working set is applied to the VersionVault Navigator.
