How to Use

Your AI assistant embedded in HCL Unica+

MaxAI is built directly into HCL Unica+ and is available from any screen. You can ask it questions, request analysis, generate content, and take actions — all through natural language. No separate login or tool is required.

Getting Started

  1. Open MaxAI.

    Click the MaxAI button in the top navigation bar of Unica+. The MaxAI panel opens as a side panel on the right side of your screen. It is available from every page in Unica+.

  2. Type or Speak Your Query.

    Use the text box at the bottom of the panel to type your question or instruction. You can also click the voice input icon to speak your query directly. MaxAI will process and respond in seconds

  3. Use Suggested Starting Points.

    On first open, MaxAI shows three suggested prompts — such as 'What are the top-performing campaigns from last quarter?' or 'How can I improve audience segmentation?' Click any of these to get started immediately.

  4. Take Action from Responses.

    MaxAI responses may include actionable options — links to create a segment in CDP, approve a plan, navigate to a specific report, or drill deeper into a campaign. Follow the in-response links or buttons to act immediately.

  5. Start a New Conversation.

    Use the + button at the top of the MaxAI panel to begin a fresh session. Previous conversations are saved and accessible via the history icon. Each session maintains its own context.

Tips for Better Results

Be specific in your queries. Instead of 'show campaigns,' try 'Show campaigns with an open rate above 20% from last quarter targeting credit card customers.' More context gives more accurate results.

If a response is not what you expected, try rephrasing. You can follow up in the same conversation — MaxAI remembers the context of your current session.
