Running the HCL Traveler server installation program on IBM® i

Run the installation program on the machine where you plan to install an HCL Traveler Server.

You should already have installed Domino®, downloaded the HCL Traveler server installation package, and created the appropriate save files.

Note: If installing a Traveler fixpack follow the instructions for the matching the target Domino version. For example, if installing Traveler 14.0 FP1 on Domino 14.0 FP2 follow the instructions for installing on Domino 14.0.0.

Use the IBM® i command line to install the HCL Traveler server programs:

Log in using a profile with *ALLOBJ and *SECADM authority.
Stop the Domino server hosting HCL Traveler.
From the IBM® i command line, run the appropriate command for installing from a downloaded image.
1. Use the RSTLICPGM command to install from the save files you created when you downloaded the installation package.
  This example uses the save file trav140000/QNTSINSTF to install 14.0.0 Build for Domino 14.0.0:
```
RSTLICPGM LICPGM(5733D14) DEV(*SAVF) LNG(2924) OPTION(20) SAVF(trav140000/QNTSINSTF)
```
  This example uses the save file trav120002/QNTSINSTF to install 14.0.0 Build for Domino 12.0.2:
```
RSTLICPGM LICPGM(5733D12) DEV(*SAVF) LNG(2924) OPTION(22) SAVF(trav120002/QNTSINSTF)
```
  This example uses the save file trav120001/QNTSINSTF to install 14.0.0 Build for Domino 12.0.1:

RSTLICPGM LICPGM(5733D12) DEV(*SAVF) LNG(2924) OPTION(21) SAVF(trav120001/QNTSINSTF)
```
  This example uses the save file trav120000/QNTSINSTF to install 14.0.0 Build for Domino 12.0.0:

  This example uses the save file trav110001/QNTSINSTF to install 14.0.0 Build for Domino 11.0.1:

2. When you are prompted, accept the HCL Traveler software agreement.
Note: The RSTLICPGM command is also used to install updates to the HCL Traveler programs.
