Installing using a customized JVM on Windows™ operating systems
You might want to use a customized Java™ virtual machine (JVM) during the installation. For example, if your custom JVM has been enabled to work with a screen reader, such as JAWS for Windows™. Make sure that you use Java™ 1.8 or later.
Procedure
- Locate the HCL Traveler installation application.
- From a command prompt, change the directory to the location of the installation application.
- Launch the installation application using the
LAX_VM
option to specify which JVM to use:installername.exe LAX_VM fully-qualified java.exe path
For example,
TravelerSetup.exe LAX_VM C:\Program Files\hcl\domino\jvm\bin\java.exe
