Sending network management traps
You can configure the SafeLinx Server to send traps to a network management station.
You can configure the SafeLinx Server to send traps when different events occur, such as the starting or stopping of the SafeLinx Server. These traps are logged by your simple network management protocol (SNMP) management station.
To enable the sending of traps to the network management station, you must give the host name of the network management station. This process is completed when you create the SafeLinx Server. You must also prepare the network management program to receive traps from the SafeLinx Server.
