What's new in SafeLinx 1.2?
HCL SafeLinx 1.2 introduces the following new functionality.
- Release 1.2.1.1 (IF1) This is a fix release. For information on the fixes in it, see the HCL SafeLinx 1.2 Release Notes.
- Release 1.2.1 This release introduces the following enhancements:
- This release introduces support for Microsoft SQL Server backend database on Linux, including support for the native client provided with the server. For configuration steps, see Roadmap: Installing and configuring SafeLinx on SQL Server and Linux.
- This release supports SAML Notes federated login for Nomad. Support is provided at the beta level, which means we encourage feedback on the feature but it is not officially supported until a subsequent release of Nomad.
- The SafeLinx installer provides a link to the Getting started with Nomad server configuration wizard. This wizard guides you through the steps to configure a Nomad server on SafeLinx.
- Release 1.2.0.1 (IF1) This release introduces support for the the MySQL backend database on Windows. For configuration steps, see Roadmap: Installing and configuring SafeLinx on MySQL and Windows
- Release 1.2.0 This release:
- Introduces support for the MySQL backend database on Linux. For configuration steps, see Roadmap: Installing and configuring SafeLinx on MySQL and Linux.
- Provides a streamlined configuration wizard for configuring an HCL Nomad web proxy during a new SafeLinx server configuration. The wizard excludes configuration steps that are not needed for Nomad.
