Download Options

Users will see several icons next to each file:

• Download Button – Downloads the file to the local machine.
• Pre-Authenticated Download Link – Ideal for remote installations; allows downloading directly onto a server or VM.

This option is especially useful in scenarios where the user is browsing MHS from one device (such as a laptop) but intends to install the software on a different machine, such as a server or virtual machine. Instead of downloading the file to the laptop and manually transferring it, the user can copy the pre-authenticated URL and use it in a remote session or terminal on the target machine to download the file directly.

These links are secure and time-limited—they are typically valid for about 60 minutes. After that period, the link will expire and become unusable.
