Accessing the Portal
The MHS portal provides a personalized catalog of entitled products and releases. Users can log in, access the portal, and navigate through product groups, products, and releases to locate the required firmware.
Signing Into the MHS Portal
Users can browse through the product categories to locate the appropriate software. Selecting a Product Group displays the associated Products and their Releases. It is important for users to understand that the content they see in the catalog is dynamic and personalized.
Navigating the Firmware Catalog
The My HCLSoftware (MHS) Catalog follows a hierarchical structure:
Product group → Product → Release
Access to software assets such as installers, fixes, and components is governed by two primary factors:
- Active Maintenance Entitlements The user must have valid entitlements for the specific product or release.
- General Availability (GA) Status Only versions that are currently supported and have reached their General Availability (GA) date are visible. Releases become accessible starting from their GA date.
Reasons a Release May Not Be Visible:
- The user does not have entitlement to the release.
- The software version has reached its end-of-life and is no longer within the General Availability (GA) period, so it is no longer available or supported.
- The release has been retired or removed from the catalog.
