Note:

This Section helps Solr upgradation from solr 8.5.0 to 8.11.2. After upgrading to 8.11.2 upgrade, it to version 9.5.0 by following the section which falls under “Apache SOLR -> Solr Upgradation 8.11 to 9.5 - Non-High Availability (non-HA) mode”. Since solr 9.5.0 is the Latest stable version.

To get Latest stable solr version – upgrade solr from 8.5.0 -> 8.11.2 -> 9.5.0 (which is the latest stable version)

Taking Backup of existing Collections and Repo
Remove existing solr service using nssm
Authentication
SOLR as a Service
Restoring old collections to Latest solr version
