Accessibility features assist users who have a disability, such as restricted mobility or limited vision, to use information technology content successfully.

      • Supported languages

HCL Traveler for Microsoft™ Outlook supports the following languages:

      • Choosing whether to log in automatically

You can save your login password so that you no longer need to provide daily. If you do, HTMO remembers your password and authenticates you in the background unless you change your password or it expires.

      • Searching older email

When you first install and set up HCL Traveler for Microsoft™ Outlook (HTMO), existing mail that is more than 30 days old is not synced to Outlook. HTMO users with HCL Verse™ subscriptions can use the Mail Search feature to find older email on their mail servers and display it in Outlook.

      • Looking up names in your organization directory

When addressing a new email or meeting invitation, you can automatically look up names in your organization through the Address Book Provider.

      • Scheduling a room for a meeting

When you schedule a new meeting, you can find and schedule a room. This feature is available when your company is set up to use an on-site Domino® Resource Reservations database.

      • Seeing how close your mail file is to the size limit

The mail file size limit is referred to as the mail quota.

      • Working with Calendar

This topic describes several things you can do to optimize your experience when working with calendar entries in Microsoft™ Outlook.

      • Setting up Out of Office

You can use HTMO to configure the Domino mail server to generate automatic replies to emails received while you are out of the office.

      • HTMO delegation

Beginning with the HTMO 3.0.3 beta, delegates can use HTMO to access and manage the owner's mail file.

        • Manage who can access your Mail, Calendar, and Contacts

Use the Delegation feature to give a person or a group of people access to parts of your mail file. For example, give an administrative assistant access to the calendar to manage your meetings.

        • Adding a delegated account to your profile

After someone has granted you delegate access to their mail file, you can add their account to your profile. Their mail file then appears as an additional account in the left navigation below the primary mail file.

        • Controlling how many days of content sync in a delegated account

By default, unlimited mail and calendar syncs down in a delegated account.

        • Providing delegates access to your mail file

You can grant delegate access to your mail file.

        • Delegation behaviors and limitations

      • Using local X.509 certificates for authentication

Beginning in HCL Traveler for Microsoft Outlook (HTMO) 3.0.1, the HTMO client is able to authenticate with the Domino/Traveler server using certificate based authentication instead of using password based (Basic) Authentication.
