Feature-Specific Limitations

Kafka Link SSL/SASL

Direct connection to an external Kafka server using SSL/SASL on the first run is not supported.

Follow the below steps to connect to Kafka using SSL/SASL.

Deploy the Kafka Link pod without SSL.
Add the required SSL certificates manually to the Kafka Persistent Volume (PV).
Update the pod configuration to connect to Kafka using SSL/SASL.

Unica Partitioning

The Unica partitioning feature is not intended for load balancing or fault tolerance.

It is used mainly for regulatory compliance, where user and data segregation is required based on location or other criteria.
