Backup

Before performing an upgrade or rollback, back up all critical configuration and data.

Items to Back Up

Persistent Volumes (PVs) – Backup all PVs used by Link.
values.yaml – If any custom configurations are saved.
Kubernetes Secrets – Including SSL certificates, Keycloak credentials, and Link passwords.

PV Backup Methods

You can back up Persistent Volumes using any of the following methods:

Manual Backup and Restore
Volume Snapshots
Filesystem Backup

Note: It is the user’s responsibility to ensure the upgrade is successful and no data is lost. Always back up your data first, restore it in another Kubernetes environment, and compare both environments to confirm they match before uninstalling or modifying the stable one.
