Applicability | Control name | Control description |
---|---|---|
DevOps Code ClearCase® remote client (CCRC) and DevOps Code ClearCase local client (CCLC) | Interop text mode | Specifies whether any line-terminator processing is performed
when versions are loaded into the view or checked in to the VOB.
|
CCLC | Use server storage location | Select a location from the list of those that have been specifically established for storing views. |
Use explicit path | Specify a storage location in the form \\host\share\directory... For best performance, automatic view storage should be established on the local host. | |
Automatic views | Client-side view storage location | Specifies local storage for view metadata and logs. Default: user_home_directory/rviews_storage/view-tag. Version-controlled files are accessed through the automatic view drive (default: R:\ for Windows and /rview for Linux). |
Shared cleartext cache location | Specifies local storage for cleartext corresponding to files that are accessed from automatic views. Specify the same cache directory for all of your automatic views that reside on the same client machine and that access the same VOB content. The automatic view that is the first to access a file that has not yet been fetched obtains it from the VOB. When another automatic view accesses that file, it obtains it from local shared storage (which is more efficient than fetching the same file from the VOB). Default : user_home_directory/.ccase_automatic_cltxt_stg | |
Dynamic views | Create shareable derived objects | Allow derived objects to be shared among other dynamic views on the LAN. |
Snapshot views | Preserve version creation time when files are loaded or updated from the server | Preserves the modification time of the version. If you do not select this option, the modification time of the version is set to the time that the version was checked in. |
