Grouping query filters

You can group filters in the Filter Criteria list using the logical operators AND and OR. Use the Query editor or the Query wizard to group query filters to create complex filters.

1. In the Filters pane of the Query editor or the Query wizard, select and right-click a filter to add to the group or to be the container for other filters in the group? group, and click Group.
   A dimmed rectangle appears as you move the mouse in the Filters pane.
2. Click a filter with which to group the filter that you selected in Step 1.
   The filter group appears in the Filters pane, nested under the appropriate And and Or operators.
3. To add more filters, drag each filter over the And or Or operator associated with the group.
