Reseller and buyer registration approval flow

The approval flow for a reseller or buyer registration is very similar to the approval flow for user registration. The reseller and buyer registration approval flow is the approval flow that is used when a reseller first registers. Upon registration, Commerce+ creates an organization and a reseller administrator and both are approved at the same time. Once the organization approval record is approved, the reseller administration registration approval record is approved.

Subsequent reseller administrators who register at the same organization do not follow the reseller and buyer registration approval flow, they follow the user registration approval flow. Note that upon registration using the user registration approval flow, the system creates a reseller administrator. The organization has been created when the first reseller registered using the reseller and buyer registration approval flow.

Sample approval scenarios

• Buyer Organization Registration in a specific Supplier Store is automatically approved:
  1. Open Commerce Lab Tools and from the left navigation menu, select Administration > Manage Organizations > Organizations. The Organizations page is displayed.
  2. From the search field locate the Root Organization.
  3. Select the organization and click Approvals.
  4. Find and select the approval group with the following name: Reseller Registration Approval - name of supplier store's organization.
  5. Click Save.
