Deploying HCL Commerce Version 9.1 with HCL Software Factory

Deploy HCL Commerce Version 9.1 on Kubernetes using HCL Software Factory (SoFy) to generate customized Helm charts, access Docker images, and test configurations in a sandbox.

HCL Commerce is an e-commerce platform for business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) models. The platform uses open standards and cloud-native technology to streamline deployment. Business users can manage marketing campaigns, promotions, catalogs, and merchandising across all sales channels.

HCL Software Factory (SoFy) simplifies the deployment of HCL Software products. Use the SoFy catalog to select services and build a solution. You can preview the solution in a sandbox and generate a customized Helm chart for deployment on cloud infrastructure (such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud). SoFy provides the latest Docker images through the SoFy Docker Registry and configures entitlement checks.

Important: Do not use the SoFy environment for a live production site without additional security hardening, load balancing, and performance tuning. To operate HCL Commerce in a live environment, you must allocate resources for security and performance.
