Applying fixes to Rational Application Developer

If there are fixes for your version of Rational Application Developer, you can use the IBM Installation Manager to apply the fixes to your environment.

Before you begin

• To review the levels of Rational Application Developer that are supported by WebSphere Commerce Developer, see Recommended software, fixes, and settings for WebSphere Commerce Version 8.0.
• To determine the recommended level of Rational Application Developer, see Recommended software, fixes, and settings for WebSphere Commerce Version 8.0.

Procedure

1. Open IBM Installation Manager.
2. Optional: Specify an internal Rational Application Developer repository if you cannot connect to the Internet.
3. From the main menu, select Update.
4. Select the IBM Software Delivery Platform package and click Next.
5. The Update packages wizard detects all of the applicable fixes. Recommended updates are preselected by default. Select the updates that you want to apply and click Next.
6. Select the features to install. Features that are already installed are preselected by default. Click Next.
7. Accept the license agreement and click Next.
8. Review the update summary and click Update to install the updates.
9. When the installation completes, click Finish and close IBM Installation Manager.
