Filtering the Anomaly Detection report by the top-N anomalies
Optionally, you can configure the report to display a selected number of the topmost anomalies, which are based on the absolute value of the calculated deviation.
About this task
For example, suppose that your report displays these anomalies:
- Anomaly A:
-1.44
- Anomaly B:
0.32
- Anomaly C:
0.85
If you configure the report to display the top two anomalies, then the report displays Anomaly A and Anomaly C. Since the absolute value of Anomaly B is the least, it is dropped from the report.
Using this option, you can display the most active anomalies in a report.
Procedure
- In the toolbar, click the Options button.
- In the Options window, click the
Display Top N Values by Std Dev Count
checkbox. - In the text box, enter a value for the number of most volatile anomaly detections to display in the report.
-
Click Apply. The report is updated to display only the Top N
anomalies that you configured.
