Gmail Search Tool

Use Gmail - Search to search for email messages or threads within a delegated user's Gmail account. This tool is essential for agents that need to find specific communications, categorize emails, or retrieve information based on search criteria. This tool allows your agents to execute structured Gmail queries and return results in JSON format.


Field	Description
*Indicates mandatory field
Name*	A user-defined identifier for this tool instance. It must be unique within the agent's context
Description*	A brief summary of what this tool does. Example: Searches emails for a specific label or keyword.
Delegated User Email*	The email address of the user whose mailbox will be searched. This must be a valid email address that the service account has been authorized to access via domain-wide delegation. Format: `user@yourcompany.com`
Credentials to connect with*	Select the Gmail API credential (typically using a service account with domain-wide delegation) that has permission to access the delegated user's mailbox. Note: Refer to the Adding a Credential section for steps to configure this.
