You can modify a submitted task before it starts running. When the task is in the ready or hold status, you can configure specific run properties on the Monitor page.

Getting started with HCL Universal Orchestrator

- Orchestration Monitor overview
  The Orchestration Monitor gives you granular control over your plan, enabling you to take direct action over every item.
- Monitoring from the Orchestration CLI
- Rerunning tasks in the plan
  After you submit a task in the plan, you can customize and rerun it. This option is available for any task that has reached a final status.
- Task run history
  The task run history view provides comprehensive historical data for any specific task, extending beyond the scope of the current plan. While standard system behavior restricts you to viewing task runs within the current active plan, the task run history action opens a breadcrumb view that allows you to easily access and review historical data from previous plans.
- Exporting orchestration monitor data
  You can use the export data action to download all currently visible table data into a CSV, PDF, or Excel file.

You can modify a submitted task before it starts running. When the task is in the ready or hold status, you can configure specific run properties on the Monitor page.

About this task

Before a task starts running, you can modify its specific properties. The properties you can modify are dynamic and depend on the plug-in type of the selected task. To configure tasks in plan, complete the following steps:

Procedure

From the home page, click the Monitor tab.
From the Item drop-down list, select Task.
From the list, select the checkbox for the task that you want to edit, and then click the More actions tab.
Select the Edit task option from the drop down list.

Note: The Edit current task definition is displayed. The properties and editable fields that are displayed depend on the plug-in type of the task.
After you make the required changes, click Save.
