Menu Bar Customization

This utility enables you to remove items from the menu bar of the Z and I Emulator for Windows session window. The changes affect only the session that you customize, so you can make different changes to each session. You can remove three types of items:
  • A menu bar command, such as File, Edit, or Communication
  • A pulldown menu command, such as, New, Open..., Color Mapping, Configure
  • A separator line that resides between two commands in a pulldown menu

The modifications to the menu bar are saved in the workstation profile that you choose and become active the next time you start the session.

Menu Bar Customization Enhancement

The Menu Bar Customization utility now supports filtering .ini files in the Open and Save As dialogs. The *.* (All Files) option has been removed, and only ".ini" or ".ws" files are shown based on selection. When saving customizations to an .ini file, the changes apply globally to all existing and new sessions if saved to the default pcswin.ini. The Description field is disabled when saving as ".ini", as it is not applicable.
