The diagnostic file (EQQDUMP)
When HCL Workload Automation for Z internal validity checking discovers error conditions within the network communication function, debugging information is written to the HCL Workload Automation for Z diagnostic file (defined by ddname EQQDUMP). For serious error conditions, HCL Workload Automation for Z abends with user code 3999 as well.
The diagnostic information consists of message EQQ0000T, which gives the name of the module in error and the reason for the error, in two 8-byte character strings. HCL Workload Automation for Z also writes a formatted version of the trace table to the diagnostic file. In most situations, HCL Workload Automation for Z will also “snapˮ the data that it considers to be in error.
