Starting IBM® SPSS® Modeler Advantage Enterprise Marketing Management Edition Listener process in UNIX™
If IBM® SPSS® Modeler Advantage Enterprise Marketing Management Edition is installed on Windows™, the Modeler Server Listener process starts automatically as a Windows service. However, in UNIX™, you must start the process manually.

Starting IBM SPSS Modeler Advantage Enterprise Marketing Management Edition Listener process in UNIX

If IBM® SPSS® Modeler Advantage Enterprise Marketing Management Edition is installed on Windows™, the Modeler Server Listener process starts automatically as a Windows service. However, in UNIX™, you must start the process manually.

Procedure

Open a command prompt and navigate to the SPSS Modeler Server installation directory. Run the following commands to manually start and stop IBM SPSS Modeler Server:

To start the server run: ./modelersrv.sh start
To stop the server run: ./modelersrv.sh stop
