Searching for resources
You can search SafeLinx for attributes associated with specific resources.

Searches can
include an asterisk (*) as a wildcard character to represent zero
or more characters in a string of characters. For example, a search
for the string

returns any
string that begins with run, is followed
by one or more other characters, and ends with the letter g.
For example, "running."You can search all organizational units (OUs), or you can select the organizational unit in which to search. To narrow the list of resources you want to search, click Browse and select the organizational unit in which to search.

For example, a user whose name is Cathy Johnson with
a user ID of catjo has a fixed IP address of 9.12.34.56. If you are
unsure how to spell the name or user ID, you could enter the following
search criteria, using Or search criteria and
still having matching results:
- Click the User resource.
- Click search in All OUs.
- Click Or in the search criteria field.
- Enter Johnsn in the Full name field.
