SafeLinx Clients
SafeLinx Clients can establish virtual private network (VPN) connections with mobile access services across various wireless and wireline network. SafeLinx Clients use these optimized, secure IP tunnels to communicate with resources on the internal network.

Installing the SafeLinx Client
Installing the SafeLinx Client requires administrator access to install and requires a restart of the system. If the SafeLinx Client is already installed, an upgrade begins.

Installing the SafeLinx Client

Installing the SafeLinx Client requires administrator access to install and requires a restart of the system. If the SafeLinx Client is already installed, an upgrade begins.

The SafeLinx Client is distributed as a mountable disk image file (SafeLinxClient.dmg) containing an installer package, SafeLinxClient.pkg.

To install the SafeLinx Client on a Mac OS X system:

Double-click the .dmg file to mount the installation package.
In the Finder window, double-click the SafeLinxClient.pkg file to start the installation program.
Review the readme file that is displayed as part of the installation. The readme file is located in /usr/local/SafeLinxClient/.
Select the Macintosh HD volume as the destination.
