Use the BAR_DEBUG_LOG parameter to specify the location and name of the ON-Bar debug log.

onconfig.std value: /usr/informix/bar_dbug.log
if value not present: UNIX™: /tmp/bar_dbug.log; Windows™: \tmp\bar_dbug.log
takes effect: When ON-Bar starts; When you reset the value dynamically in your onconfig file by running the onmode -wf or equivalent SQL administration API command.

Usage

For security reasons, set the BAR_DEBUG_LOG configuration parameter to a directory with restricted permissions, such as the $ONEDB_HOME directory.
