DBDATE setting must be at least four characters and no longer
than six characters
This error occurs because the DBDATE format
string that is passed to the database server either has too few characters
or too many. 
To fix the problem, verify the DBDATE format
string with the user documentation and make sure that the correct
year, month, day, and possibly era parts of the DBDATE format
string are correctly identified.
