Account Membership by Invitation

Users can be invited to become a member of an account through the “Account Management” page on My HCLSoftware, which is visible when the current user is an account administrator for the currently selected account.

Invite a New User

  1. Click the “Add member” button and specify the email address for the user to be invited.
  2. Press “Add member” to initiate the invitation. An email notification will be sent to the supplied address to communicate that an invitation has been extended. The email includes the name and HCL Customer Number (HCN) of the account to which the user has been invited and a link to the My HCLSoftware portal.
  3. The resulting invitation can be seen in the members table with a status of “Invitation Pending.”
  4. If required and before it is accepted, an invitation can be withdrawn by clicking the trash icon on that row.
  5. When the invited user accepts the invitation the record in the members table is updated to show they are a member and populates their name as set in the user’s HCLSoftware ID profile. Once a member, an account administrator can update the member’s permissions which determine the actions the new member can perform on behalf of the account.
