Installation Procedure

  1. Open Control Panel.
  2. Search for ‘Windows feature’. It will feature under Programs.
  3. Click Turn Windows Features On or Off.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Click Next

  6. Click Next.

  7. Select Web Server (IIS) and click Next.

  8. Select .NET framework Features.

  9. Click Next for installing IIS.

  10. Open Control Panel and search for ‘Windows feature’. It will feature under Programs.
  11. Click Turn Windows Features on or off.

  12. Click Next and expand the Web Server (IIS).

  13. Expand Application Development and select features as shown in the image below.

  14. Click Next to proceed with installation.

  15. To validate successful installation of IIS, type Run in Windows Search Bar and Press Enter.
  16. Type ‘inetmgr’ and click Enter. Once the installation is successful, the following screen pops up to confirm the installation of IIS.
