Deploying CDP DMP SST Redis
This section describes the steps to deploy a Redis cluster for CDP DMP SST on an AKS cluster using the Bitnami Redis Helm chart.
Procedure
-
Add the Bitnami Helm repository.
helm repo add bitnami https://charts.bitnami.com/bitnami -
Update Helm repositories.
helm repo update -
Create a working directory and create a redis.yaml configuration file with the Redis cluster configuration.
mkdir cdp-dmp-sst-redis cd cdp-dmp-sst-redis vi redis.yamlCopy the following content into redis.yaml and update the Ingress host, TLS details, and Redis password:
global: imageRegistry: "" imagePullSecrets: [] storageClass: "" image: registry: docker.io repository: bitnamilegacy/redis-cluster tag: 8.2.1-debian-12-r0 pullPolicy: IfNotPresent usePassword: true password: "YourRedisPasswordHere" cluster: init: true nodes: 6 replicas: 1 persistence: enabled: true size: 8Gi redis: useAOFPersistence: "yes" resourcesPreset: "medium" -
Install the Redis cluster using Helm.
helm upgrade --install dmp-sst-redis bitnami/redis-cluster -f redis.yaml -n cdp-dev-app -
Verify the deployment and pods.
kubectl get deployment -n cdp-dev-app kubectl get pods -n cdp-dev-app -l k8s-app=cdp-dmp-sst-redisExpected pod status: READY
6/6, STATUSRunning.
