Prerequisites

Before deploying HCL CDP core components on Microsoft Azure, ensure the required tools and Kubernetes resources are available.

About this task

The following tools must be present to facilitate the installation:

  • Kubernetes CLI: Verify the availability of the kubectl command.
  • Helm CLI: Ensure the helm command-line tool is installed.

Procedure

  1. Create a separate service account, for example cdp-dev-app-sa, with appropriate roles and permissions, and update ConfigMaps data with actual values.
  2. Create a Kubernetes Secret with Vault credentials to fetch the secrets from HashiCorp Vault.
