Overriding default download settings
Configure how often AutoUpdate checks for new downloads, server document updates, and software download and distribution work.
By default, AutoUpdate will download software once per hour from the My HCLSoftware Portal. To override this default setting, use the notes.ini variable AUTOUPD_LOW_PRIO_DL_INTERVAL_MINS and set to the desired number of minutes. For example setting AUTOUPD_LOW_PRIO_DL_INTERVAL_MINS=1440 will check for new downloads every 1,440 minutes, which is once per day. This setting also controls how often AutoUpdate checks server documents for possible updates.
You can also define how often AutoUpdate checks for any software download or distribution work using the notes.ini variable AUTOUPD_HIGH_PRIO_DL_INTERVAL_MINS (defaults to 5).
To force an immediate update, issue the command tell autoupdate process high
on the download server.
