Accessing DevOps Plan Designer Management

Users with the super user, tenant admin, or tenant owner privileges can use the Designer Management feature to create, modify, and delete databases and schemas. All other users can view the designer page for the applications they have access to. To do this, go to the DevOps Plan home page and click the View button in the DevOps Plan – Application section.

Procedure

  1. In the DevOps Plan application and click My Applications.
  2. Click Designer Management.
  3. Select the teamspace. The applications that are installed in your system are displayed.
  4. In the Actions column, you can view the database information, view the application details, or chek-out the application to edit it.

    If the application is already checked out, the Action Required pop-up window appears. You can either click Resume to resume editing the application, Restart to restart editing from the beginning, or Cancel to cancel the checkout.

    When you check out the application, the selected application details page appears with the editing toolbar enabled.

    1. Make the required changes.
    2. Click Save to save the changes.
    3. Click Validate to validate the changes.
    4. Click Check-in to navigate to the Designer Management page.
    Click to view the user comments View the comments that were added when checking out the application.
    Undo Checkout Discard the changes made to the application in that session.
