Understanding the reports

You can generate AI-powered summaries and detailed reports of work items using ChatGPT integration. Learn how to access these features to produce insightful documentation tailored to your workflow.

There are two options available:

  • Generate Summary
  • Generate Report

To generate either report, you must have the AI credential selected in the Integration Member Access dashboard.

To enable AI credential:

  1. Go to Profile > Member Access.
  2. Select the AI credential to enable OpenAI integration.
Note: If the OpenAI Integration is not available, contact your system administrator to request access to the OpenAI integration.

Summary offers a concise, AI-generated overview of a work item. It is ideal for quickly understanding the essence of a task without diving into full details. Go to More Info > Summarize > Generate Summary to generate Summary.

When you click Generate Summary, the system uses ChatGPT AI to create a brief summary based on the content and context of the selected work item. This is especially useful for status updates, quick reviews, or sharing highlights with stakeholders.

Report provides a more detailed information as interpreted by the AI. Go to More Info > Report > Generate Report to generate work item report.

When you click Generate Report, it prompts ChatGPT AI to produce a comprehensive report based on the work item’s data. This report can be used for documentation, audits, or deeper analysis.

Note: The format of these reports may vary each time you click the Generate button, as the AI interprets and presents the information differently on each click.
