Multiple clusters, single service group (asymmetric)
This variant scenario of the single-cluster configuration allows for major services to be configured for high availability on separate clusters. There is still only one service group per cluster, but there might be multiple independent 1x1 clusters to allow for separation of major services. Each cluster has a single service.
For example, cluster A has two nodes: SVA1 and SVA2. It is configured with a single service group SGA1 which manages only the registry server. Cluster B has nodes SVB1 and SVB2 with service group SGB1 which manages VOBs (and their associated sync manager if applicable). Cluster C is similarly configured for view management and cluster D for the license server. Because all clusters are independent of each other, you can omit any one of them if you want to. In addition, you can create as many separate instances of clusters B and C (VOB and view) as you need.
