Using the Automated Uninstall for Microsoft Windows Servers
For Microsoft Windows server deployments, an uninstall script is made available within the standard Programs and Features list during installation.
Before you begin
Warning: Ensure that the Common.ear application has been shut down.
Failure to perform this step will result in an incomplete removal of the Ephox Editor for
Connections integration.
Procedure

Run the Ephox Editor for IBM Connections Uninstaller.
- Stop the Common enterprise application.
- Navigate to the Programs and Features section under Control Panel.
- Select the Ephox editors for IBM Connections entry.
- Click Uninstall.
- Click Yes at the prompt and allow the installer to complete the uninstallation.
- Start the Common enterprise application.

Update the IBM Connections cache.
To ensure that the Ephox Editor is immediately removed and made unavailable, the IBM Connections server cache must be notified to update itself. To update the IBM Connections server cache, perform the steps outlined by the IBM Connections Post-Customization documentation.

Verify uninstall.
Browse to the edit screen for a wiki or blog to verify that the Ephox Editor is no longer available as rich text editors within IBM Connections and that rich text editing has reverted to the default editor.
