Sending information to HCL Support

To reduce the time that it takes to resolve your problem, you can send trace and diagnostic information to HCL Support.

Procedure

To submit diagnostic information to HCL Support:
  1. Open a problem management record (PMR). See Contacting HCL Support for more details.
  2. Manually collect the diagnostic data that you need. Diagnostic data helps reduce the time that it takes to resolve your PMR. See Resolving a problem without Support tools for more details.
  3. Compress the files by using the ZIP or TAR format.
  4. Transfer the files to HCL. You can use one of the following methods to transfer the files to HCL:
