WebSphere Application Server, version 8.x enables the HttpOnly cookies by default. EditLive! for Connections requires disabling this setting to allow image uploading to occur.

About this task

To disable this setting, perform the following steps:

Procedure

In the WebSphere Application Server Integrated Solutions Console, navigate to Security > Global Security > Web and SIP security and select Single Sign On (SSO).
In the Single Sign On section, deselect the HttpOnly cookies option and then click OK to save your configuration update.
Still in the Integrated Solutions Console, open the Servers section and select WebSphere application servers.
For each application server, perform the following actions:
1. Open the server's configuration properties by clicking the server link.
2. Open the Session Management settings by clicking the Session Management link under Container Settings.
3. Open the Cookies configuration settings by clicking on the Enable cookies link under Session tracking mechanism.
4. In the Cookies General Properties deselect the HttpOnly cookies option.
5. Click OK to save your configuration update.
If not already done, save the configuration and then restart your WebSphere Application Servers.
