- Provide a skip link to jump directly to the main content areas.
- Provide visual tooltips for non-text content such as icons or action buttons.
- Communicate all information independently of color.
- Interfaces that screen readers commonly use.
- Through aria-label, alt, or title attributes wherever appropriate.
- For products and categories, alt text is retrieved from the associated locale-specific name and short description attributes, respectively.
- Meaningful error and instruction feedback:
- Include text-based feedback or iconography for users with color blindness or low vision.
- All labels and links describe their destination, action or intent clearly.
Third-party integration
To support certain functions, Commerce+ occasionally integrates with third-party software. In these cases, the third-party tool might not meet HCL accessibility standards. Adding third-party content to your storefront can introduce accessibility concerns. For information about third-party accessibility compliance, see the documentation provided with the third-party software.
