Deprecated feature

Import the customization into NiFi

This section of the tutorial explains the steps that are required to import the customization in NiFi to index profit margin data.

HCL Commerce Version 9.1.14.0 or later

Important: These instructions are specific to Groovy ETL. Groovy is not recommended for use in production environments. The instructions given in this topic and its subtopics are not relevant if you are using the recommended JavaETL or -Template_DatabaseETL methods. For instructions that instead use the preferred method, see Create the customization in NiFi.

If you have set up the customization to index profit margin data in any of your environments, you can import that customization into your other environments.

Prerequisite

Before you can index the profit margin data, you must load a cost price list using the Catalog Filter and Pricing tool.

To index profit margin data, complete the following steps:

Test the customization

Test the customization by using profit margin as the criteria for defining a Web Activity rule for displaying dynamic product recommendations.
