Changing key mapping for OpenLaszlo actions

Key mappings or shortcuts can be configured for OpenLaszlo actions that you use frequently.

About this task

Two OpenLaszlo actions have default keyboard shortcuts configured:
ActionDefault shortcut
Build OpenLaszlo ProjectCtrl + Alt + B
Open an OpenLaszlo type Ctrl + Alt + L
The default shortcuts can be altered or you can create a new shortcuts.

Procedure

  1. Start WebSphere Commerce Developer.
  2. Click Window > Preferences. The Preferences dialog opens.
  3. Expand General > Keys.
  4. Enter values in the Keyboard Shortcuts tab. For example, to create a shortcut, complete the following steps:
    1. In the Command area, select OpenLaszlo Commands in the Category field.
    2. Select Open OpenLaszlo Hierarchy in the Name field.
    3. Cursor to the Key Sequence area.
    4. Using your keyboard, press the combination of keys. For example, press Ctrl + Alt + G. The key combination is automatically entered in the Name field.
    5. Click Add
    6. Click Apply > OK to save your change.
  5. Click Navigate. You see the keyboard shortcut associated with Open OpenLaszlo Type in Hierarchy.
