Target screen not visible or input not working from the Controller on macOS
Reset the macOS permissions to ensure that the Remote Control Target or On-Demand Target can work correctly.
Before you begin
- If you are using the Remote Control Target application close it.Note: If you close the Remote Control On-demand Target application you cannot reset the permissions, because the application is deleted from the disk automatically after the session termination and the system does not recognize the bundle ID.
- If you are using the Remote Control On-demand Target application leave it open.
About this task
- Check if the problem is due to the sleeping policies of the OS. In this case, for more information, see Getting control of a mac OS target after the screen is locked.
- Check if the required permissions are enabled as explained in Enable the required macOS permissions on Remote Control target version V10.
Procedure
- Close the System Settings application.
- Open the Terminal application.

Run the following command:
sudo tccutil reset All com.bigfix.remotecontrol.target
orsudo tccutil reset All com.bigfix.remotecontrol.odt
- Restart the computer.
- Open the Remote Control Target or Remote Control On-demand Target application again.
- Enable the permissions again as explained in Enable the required macOS permissions on Remote Control target version V10.
