- Catalog End-of-Support Attributes
- License type and software category
  This topic lists down all license types and software categories that are available under reports, such as Software Classification, Products & Metrics, and Software Installations. Using License Type option, you can track the software installations and categorize them according to the license type. Software Category and Software Subcategory allows you to group similar software components together. The categories are mentioned here.
- Software Data Harvesting
  We are introducing a BigFix Inventory Catalog Enhancement program. The purpose of this program is to provide BigFix Inventory clients with better discovery capabilities adjusted to software installed on their Windows endpoints.

Catalog End-of-Support Attributes

The table shows the end of support dates for the operating systems, application server platforms, application softwares, and databases discovered by the BigFix Inventory server.

Note:

Starting from version 11.0.6, the catalog is extended with new columns, Release Date, Standard End of Support, and Extended End of Support.

Release Date - the date of a component release, also called the general availability or start date
Standard End of Support - mainstream end date of the component support, also called the premier support end
Extended End of Support - the date when extended support ends

The End-of-Support (EOS) date is taken from the Extended Support date when available; otherwise, it is taken from the Standard Support date.
