Setup for AWS plugin

This section or menu option provides instructions for installing and configuring the AWS cloud endpoints by starting, stopping, and restarting discovered resources.

These operations are performed using the following AWS action commands:

731 - Amazon Web Services discovered resources start
733 - Amazon Web Services discovered resources stop
735 - Amazon Web Services discovered resources restart

Before executing AWS cloud operations via BigFix, make sure that the AWS Asset Discovery Plugin must be installed in plugin portal. Refer to The Plugin Portal.

The AWS Asset Discovery Plugin allows BigFix to discover and manage AWS cloud EC2 instances. Refer to Introduction to Cloud Plugins.
