Verifying the Revisions in FileBeat Service and WinLogBeat Service
After running the FileBeat Service or the WinLogBeat Service, you can compare the revisions between the new revision and the earlier revision.
About this task
To compare the revisions, complete the following steps:
Procedure

From the Discover portal, navigate to .
The Discover Services Management page appears.

From the WorldView tab, expand the server node and
expand one of the following nodes:
- FileBeat Service
- WinLogBeat Service

In the respective node, select one of the following files:
- FileBeat configuration file
- WinLogBeat configuration file

Click Revision History.
The Revision History dialog appears.

Select any two rows from the list and click Diff
Revs.
A dialog appears containing the UnifiedTab and Side-By-Side View tab.
The UnifiedTab gives a combined view of the revisions.
The Side-By-Side View gives a comparison view of the two revisions, side-by-side.
- Click Done.
