Create an agent from scratch
Step 1- Initiating the Agent Setup
To begin, you can access the builder from the following primary locations within the application. This ensures that users can initiate agent creation at any point during their workflow without navigating away from their current context.

From the Welcome Page: Click the Create Agent → button in the "Create your Agents" card.

From the Welcome Page: Click the Create Agent icon on the top-left corner of the page.

From the Folders Page: Click the New AI Agent button in the top-right corner. This button is persistent and remains available whether you are viewing the AI Agents, Templates, Credentials, or LLM/SLM profiles tabs.
The Create new AI Agent page consists of three primary areas:
- Left Panel (Agent Parameters and Agent Catalog):Displays the Agent Parameters
section by default. Refer to Configuring Agent parameters section for more details.
- Users can switch to the Agent Catalog tab to browse and reuse existing agent definitions, for quicker setup and configurations.
- Central Canvas/Visualizer: Acts as the visual workspace where users assemble the agent and configure logic.
- Right Panel Subagent Configuration: Displays subagent configuration options relevant to the selected agent components.
Agent Catalog
The Agent Catalog serves as a centralized repository of predefined agents that can be reused as subagents when creating a new agent. This promotes consistency and reduces setup time.
The Agent Catalog tab provides a categorised view of existing agents in ready state organized by:
- Domains (for example, Sales, Marketing)
- Industries (for example, Healthcare, Retail)
- Horizontal Processes (for example, Training, Finance)
Each category displays:

The number of subcategories

The count of subagents available within each classification
A search bar is available for quickly locating agents by name or category.
